About Ella & Trent

What's one of your favourite memories together with your partner?

One of our favourite memories would be when Trent first asked me out. It was a warm rainy day in Queensland with perfect body surfing conditions. We swam for ages, drove through the hinterland to waterfalls and ate amazing food. It was a perfect day.

Which word best describes the style of wedding?

Playful

What are the most important details you want captured on the wedding day?

Before we go to the ceremony, photos of our bridal parties praying for us would be beautiful. Photos during our worship song. Mainly just photos that capture people authentically experiencing our wedding day with us as we seek to honour God.

Are there any details you want captured while getting ready?

Not particularly, I just want it to seem really natural. Lots of laughs and potentially tears. We are so keen for you to just come hang out and all get relaxed before our big day.

Field of Love

Ellas and Trent's wedding was a beautiful DIY outdoor celebration. They hired a huge marquee from Twilighteventhire https://www.twilighteventhire.com.au/ that could fit 160 guests with tables and chairs. It was placed on their friend's property with a flat grass area, a couple of horses behind fences, and a stunning view. Their ceremony was held on the field, so everything worked out very smoothly. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour right there. Ella and Trent planned and organised their wedding with help from their community to create this stunning event. Their friend Hannah, who works at a flower farm, arranged the flowers, and their friend Sammy took care of the cocktail hour.

What stuck with me most was their approach to wedding planning. When I talked with Ella, she said she trusted everything would work out, relying on her intuition and herself throughout the process. I'm sure she also trusted God to help her make the right choices. Either way, the wedding was full of moments that I captured effortlessly.
